Caitlin is the co-author of the public report “Memory and Landmarks” for the Burial Database Project of Enslaved Americans, the first national repository to document individual burials and burial grounds of enslaved Americans, and the content writer for the Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival “Faces of Migration.”

She also writes essays, short fiction, and creative nonfiction, including “Americans Have Long Ignored Iraqis—Now Is the Perfect Time to Connect with Their Stories,” “Why Boxing?,” “Bad Hair,” “Back to the Shark,” “An Afternoon Drive,” “I’m Not a Rock,” and “The Taking Apart and Putting Back Together of Jane Jacobs.”
